
Mark Uhrbach is currently the Section Head of Digital Economy Measurement at Statistics Canada and also responsible for the publication, Digital Insights. He has worked in the area of ICT indicators for the past 20 years at the National Statistical Organization and in related policy roles.
Mark is also active in multiple international fora related to the development of new indicators and analysis related to the digital economy. He is a former chair and current bureau member of the Working Party on Digital Economics, Measurement and Analysis at the OECD and leads the Task Team on Globalization and Digitalization as part of the United Nations Committee of Experts on Business and Trade Statistics. His current work also extends to ongoing activities as part of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development’s Task Team on Measuring e-Commerce.
