Bernardo Ballardin

Bernardo Martinho Ballardin is a Data Analyst at Cetic.br, where he contributes to large-scale research initiatives dedicated to the measurement and analysis of ICT access and use. In recent years, he has coordinated Cetic.br’s ICT Panel - Information Integrity, a research initiative aligned with the information integrity agenda that examines how individuals access and verify information online, their use of social media, their perceptions of the Brazilian information ecosystem, and the skills required to critically assess information on the Internet.
He holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of São Paulo (USP), where his academic work focused on the interrelations between platformization, digital algorithms, and platform labor.
